Diorama of indigenas kneeling in prayer in church.
This scene is extremely evocative of the actual scenes in churches that we
witnessed. Notice the hanging Quilones (bromeliad flowers). Dozens of these
Quilones hang in churches and in individual shrine houses for each saint.
They are changed every 20 days: that's a lot of flowers. One significant piece
missing here is the hundreds of burning candles that are neatly lined up on
the floor in the churches.
