One of the students in Lois's marimba class, Lizeth Marilar Lázaro Díaz, was of course very excited about the big celebration planned for her Quinceañera (15th birthday). Lois arranged to meet her in front of the cathedral, where the first part of the celebration happens: a special Mass. When we arrived, she was struggling with a stubborn earring. Lois helped put it right. We joined the big crowd that gathered to watch the start of the ceremonies.
