| Valparaiso - Festival Finale: Program

At the Plaza Italia stage we watched a totally outrageous dance performance by Bafona (Ballet Folklorico Nacional). These folks are renowned as the best in the nation. And between music, dance, costumes, costumes, and costumes, it was clear they are unequalled. After their performance, some dignitaries were introduced, especially featuring the Presidente de la Republica de Chile, Don Ricardo Lagos, who said a few words, to lengthy and overwhelming applause. Then we were treated to tango performances by 4 outstanding pairs. The final program was Isabel Parra singing songs made famous by her mother, Violetta Parra. Well, final for us that is- there was more but we went home to bed, happy but exhausted.
