| Sierra La Culata National Park

We visited the Sierra La Culata National Park on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 24 & 25. It is nearby: about an hour by bus from Mérida. We took long walks in the park both days, enjoying the mountains and the paramo terrain. Tuesday night we stayed at the delightful and very peaceful Posada "Los Pinos" (The Pines), a short walk down the road from the beginning of the park.
