Dancers
Performing in front of the Cathedral
These young dancers and their Marimba Band put on a public performance on the steps of the cathedral one day when we happened to be walking by. They are colorful and charming, and perform the standard folk dances that Nicaragua shares with other Latin American cultures, with a Nicaraguan flavor of course. By some odd coincidence, just before they started their performance, a couple of huge tour buses showed up on the central park and disgorged a hundred or so tourists fresh off of a cruise ship.
