On June 1, 2003 Lois and Don arrived in France to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. We began with a wonderful week in Paris, staying in the apartment arranged by Carolyn Porter, Don's sister. Carolyn showed us around Paris, and we were eventually joined also by her husband Charlie. Next we spent a delightful week bicycling through the Loire Valley, visiting spectacular Chateaux. We returned home on June 16.
