What's new in Querétaro 2015 - improvements
Querétaro continues to work on making the downtown more attractive. We were happy to see the conversion of the first block of Madero Street into an andador - engineered for foot traffic only. At the corner of that block across from the Jardín Zenea, we watched the construction of a massive new monument extolling the Camino Real de Tierra Adentro as a World Heritage treasure. And the work that has been going on for seemingly years to rehabilitate the Jardin de Arte is now complete. We enjoyed a presentation there by the State Band, featuring children performing dances.
