We always visit places nearby our base when we're in Latin America. We took a bus to Amealco, a little town an hour away. We happened to be there on Valentine's Day so expressions of love abounded, even to the extent of covering cars with sticky notes and grafitti. The first three photos here are from Amealco. Our danzon group took a longer trip to Guanajuato, some 2 hours away, where we gave a danzon performance. While there we enjoyed the classic beauty of the famous city, pictured in the next 3 photos.
